Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Those cases fulfilling the ROME IV diagnostic criteria. 2. Patients of both sexes will be included in the study. 3. Patients of 25-75 years age groups of various socio-economic groups will be included. 4. Patient without any other systemic diseases. 5. Patient giving written consent form. 6. Patients coming under the case definition according to ROME IV criteria will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. That doesnâ??t fulfill ROME IV diagnostic criteria. 2. Cases with serious complication of gastrointestinal disorders. 3. Patients with Psychiatric diagnosis. 4. Pregnant and lactating women. 5. Malignancy cases. 6. Recent major surgery. 7. Immuno compromised cases. 9. Patients who have participated in any other Research study in last 6 months 10.Those under other medications

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the utility of Nux Vomica in treatment of patients with Bowel Disorders.Timepoint: The follow-ups taken for 3 months will be used to assess the effect of Nux Vomica in patients with Bowel Disorders.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To give the maximum relief of symptoms of the patient and to minimize the frequency of symptoms in chronic condition.Timepoint: Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index questionnaire will be done on day 1 and at 3 months to assess the improvement of the patient.
