Interventions

Intervention1: Peppermint oil: Peppermint oil capsule will be prescribed. Each Capsule consists of 187 mg of peppermint oil. Patients weighing more than 45 kg will receive 2 capsules of peppermint oil

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children aged between 12-18 years 2.Diagnosed as functional abdominal pain not otherwise specified based on Rome IV criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with chronic illness (e.g., diabetes mellitus, epilepsy)
