Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Inpatient adults with Acute Stroke 2)Ability to communicate 3)Patients scoring 6 or more than 6 out of 10 in abbreviated mental test score

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients who have been non-ambulatory prior to admission 2)Had a secondary major trauma at the time of stroke

1)MSAS(Mobility Scale for Acute Stroke) 2)RNLI(The reintegration to normal living index)Timepoint: 1)MSAS will be taken at the time of discharge (baseline) and during follow up(7 to 10 days post -discharge) 2) RNLI will be taken at the time of follow up (7-10 days post -discharge)
