Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having age between 18 to 50 years of either sex Signs and symptoms of Prameha Purvarupavastha Impaired fasting glucose (Fasting plasma glucose 100-125 mg/dl) Impaired PPBS 2 hours (PP2BS 140-200 mg/dl) Impaired HbA1C (HBAIC 5.7-6.4 %) Patients willing to give their consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age below 18 and above 50 years Systemic illness like active tuberculosis carcinoma or endocrine disorders like Cushing syndrome Hypothyroidism Patient having the past history of M.I. & Unstable Angina or Clinical Features of congestive cardiac failure. Patients having advanced renal or liver disorder. Patients having fasting blood sugar = 125 mg/dl or PP2BS level = 200 mg/dl Patient having history of acute inflammatory bowel disease or chronic pancreatitis Patients on cortico-steroids or recent history of treatment with cortico-steroids Major psychiatric illness

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the trial drugs will break the pathogenesis of pre-diabetes and thus will be effective in the management of pre-diabetesTimepoint: 8 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The drug will improve the quality of life and thus will act as disease-modifying agent for pre-diabetes.Timepoint: 8 weeks
