Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Fulfilling the ICD-10 criteria for Depressive episodes (mild/moderate), b.Recurrent depressive disorder with HDRS score ranging between 8-23, c.Aged between18- 60 years,d.Education of at least 8 years, e.Comfortable in comprehending and interacting in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and English

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Presence of active psychotic symptoms/ active substance use accounting for specialized treatment / suicidal risk/harm to others as mentioned/diagnosed by treating psychiatrist b. Undergone individual psychotherapy of minimum 5 sessions in the last 1 year as mentioned in the patientâ??s file c. Presence of neurological disorder/intellectual disability as mentioned in patientâ??s file/reported by family members
