Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: � Postmenopausal women (natural or surgical) � Age 46 to 70 years � Waist circumference � 88 cm � Palmar grip strength of dominant hand: � 18 kgs in 60 -70 years and � 23kgs in 46 -60 years � No regular exercises in recent 3 months � Willingness to follow prescribed diet during study period � Willingness to participate in exercise training while continuing to follow up for 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: � Associated Comorbid conditions like uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension � Diagnosed cases of Thyroid disorders, Cardiovascular disorder, Heart disorders, Polyarthritis, spondyloarthropathies etc. � Diagnosed cases of Cancer, tumor, metastasis etc. � Currently on any weight loss programs or medications etc. � Physical disabilities or severe grade joint degenerative conditions � Any major surgical history during recent 1 year � Any medications that have effect on body fat mass (e.g.: Steroids, Hormonal therapy) � Any other medical or surgical condition that prevents person from participating in exercise program � Inability to comprehend commands
