Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: children(newborn infants child and adolescents)who fulfill ROME IV criteria for functional constipation will be included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: children who had delayed passage of meconium features of hypothyroidism bowel obstruction failure to thrive due to organic causes and neurological involvement will be excluded

The changes in the indicators of nutritional status i e body height leg and trunk lengths body weight mid upper arm circumference and three skin fold thickness after treatment of functional constipationTimepoint: 12 weeks and 24 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Whether the treatment of functional constipation improves appetite urinary syptoms,peri anal itching , halitosis,headache, and urinary symptomsTimepoint: 12 weeks and 24 weeks
