Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who were extubated after 48 hours of endotracheal intubation. Patients who were started on enteric nutrition. Patients who can understand and speak English/Tamil fluently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of neuromuscular disease. Swallowing difficulty prior to intubation. Patients who have undergone tracheostomy. Patients who are unable to follow instructions.
