Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged between 20 to 59 years (mean 27 years) 2.Patients without any systemic abnormality 3.Patients with weeping canals, and with periapical lesions 4.No history of antibiotics for past 1months 5.Single rooted teeth were selected 6.Negative response to thermal tests 7.Sufficient tooth coronal tooth structure to apply rubber dam 8. No history of endodontic treatment 9. Tooth with complete root formation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients above 60 years 1. 2.Patients with systemic medications including antibiotics 3.Patients with history of systemic ailments such as Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, Asthma etc 4.Patients with history of cardiac surgeries(Bypass, Valve replacements, Stent)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in pain including percussion tenderness reduction in the infection without any pus discharge Reduction in the size of periapical lesion. Timepoint: with in 8 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Complete periapical healing Formation of new bone and regeneration of periodontal fibers.Timepoint: with in 6 months to 1 year depending on the size of periapical lesion.
