Intervention1: ultrasound physiotherapy along with Tizanidine 2mg b.i.d.for 14 days: Compared with Control Arm receiving only Tizanidine 2mg b.i.d. for 14 days Control Intervention1: Tizanidine 2mg b.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients with pain involving masticatory muscles persisting per more than one month 2.two or more muscles of mastication tender to palpation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.patients with acute dental pain 2.TMJ arthritis/ interal derangement 3.atypical facial pain/ atypical odontolgia 4.neuropathies 5.paim attributable to recent trauma 6.migraine and other vascular headaches 7.sinusitis patients 8.patients with pain of of auditory origin 9.patients with artificial pacemakers
