Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient undergoing upper limb surgery like hemangioma of shoulder, shoulder arthroscopy, fracture of proximal humorous and lateral 2/3 of clavicle under interscalene nerve block fullfiling inclusion and exclusions criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All the patients with cardiac, hepatic, renal, endocrine diseases, seizure disorder,patients with allergy to study drug, not giving informed consent , pregnant & lactating mothers were excluded from the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To estimate the duration of surgical Anaesthesia and analgesia in both groups.Timepoint: Post operatively patient vas score monitor every 2 hourly. End point of study when patients Visual analogue score is 4 i.e when patients start complaining of pain.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To observe and evaluate onset, duration and efficacy of analgesia. To observe and evaluate onset and duration of motor block To observe and evaluate hemodynamic variations if any. To observe for side effects and complications if any. (nausea, vomiting, hypotension, respiratory depression).Timepoint: Up to 24hr
