Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age above 18 years. 2. Patients having confirmed diagnosis of decompensated cirrhosis, any etiology (CTP class B and C will be included) 3. Patients have given informed and written consent for participation in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing or known chronic kidney disease (CKD), cardiovascular accident, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease 2. Diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma or other malignancy. 3. Acute on chronic liver failure (ACLF), AKI, Refractory Ascites 4. Active infection 5. Active bleeding within last 7 days 6. Human immunodeficiency virus seropositivity 7. Pregnancy and lactation 8. Refusal to participate in study
