Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Sitting active and passive lag test(SAPLT) measured goniometer and validated using Kinovea and will be presented as QUADRICEPS LAG measured in degrees. Timepoint: 0 ( baseline),2nd week,4th weeks, 8th week, 24th week period. Description : The active JROM / SAPLT at knee will be measured after each of the protocol for 2 to 5 days post operatively. Both the group will receive a tailored home exercise program; the experimental group will have self-administered TPKE in addition. The follow up will be carried out during first visit (7 to 14 days), 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 24 weeks period.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
AMI will be known from maximum voluntary contraction, by measuring EMG amplitude using surface EMG Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) Knee function measured using International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) subjective knee form.Timepoint: 0 ( baseline),2nd week,4th weeks, 8th week, 24th week period. Description : EMG - Motor Unit Action Potential MUAP checked at 0 and 2 week. Both the group will receive a tailored home exercise program; the experimental group will have self-administered TPKE in addition. The follow up will be carried out for NPRS during first visit (7 to 14 days), 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 24 weeks period. The IKDC will be assessed at baseline (0-5days)and 8 weeks 24 weeks
