Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: PCOS patients with age between 16-35 years suffering from any of the two features in the following â?? Patients having mid body obesity (BMI 26-40) Patient suffering from oligomenorrhea (Duration of flow less than 2 days, interval between 2 cycles exceeding more than 35 days). At least one ovary showing PCOD (diagnosed by USG) ESHRE/ASRM- Rotterdam revised criteria for PCOD, 2003
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women. Patients with BMI less than 26. Patients suffering from any systemic diseases. Patient having congenital and structural abnormalities of uterus and adnexa. Patients having physiological infrequent menstruation. Lactating mother. Drug induced amenorrhea/oligomenorrhea. HIV, VDRL, HBsAg positive. Patients suffering from pelvic pathology including fibroid uterus, cervical polyp etc. Woman taking OCPs HB level less than 7 gm% Other etiologies (CAH, thyroid dysfunction, hyperprolactinemia, Cushing syndrome etc.)
