Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Active male smokers with smoking history of more than five years and smoking more than ten cigarettes per day and patients fit for Nasya

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient suffering with nasal pathologies Patients with inability to taste Patients with any other long standing debilitating illness

To evaluate nasal muco-ciliary clearance time using the saccharine transit time test in active smokers before and after Ksheera ghrita Marsha Nasya.Timepoint: Periodic clinical assessment of nasal clearance rate on 0, 8 and 30 days

To evaluate duration of smoking on treatment outcome To discuss the changes, if any, in smoking behavioral patterns by the effect of intervention Timepoint: Assessed with respect to 8th and 30th day
