Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients > 45 years of age with Uncomplicated Cataract 2.Patients who undergo uncomplicated standard phacoemulsification procedure with foldable in the bag monofocal IOL implantation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients previously diagnosed with dry eye disease 2.Patients using artificial tear substitutes 3.Patients on long term ocular or topical steroids 4.Patients with history of previous intra or extraocular surgery 5.Patients with any other ocular comorbidities
