Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: New diagnosed celiac disease patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: On GFD before diagnosis of celiac disease, received zinc in last three months for 2 weeks,not willing for follow up at 4 weeks

MeasureTime frame
To compare serum zinc levels in children with celiac disease receiving four weeks of oral zinc supplementation in addition to gluten free diet versus those treated with placebo and gluten free diet. Timepoint: 4 weeks after initiation of GFD
