Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who have undergone conventional thyroidectomy in our institute. 2. At least 6 months following the surgery and not beyond 5 years after surgery. 3. Patients consenting to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients unable to read and write English, Hindi and/or Marathi

MeasureTime frame
Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale will be used to assess the scar by the patient and two independent observers. First patients will assess their scar (the questionnaire will be served by a health care provider. Followed by two independent observers (Surgeons) Scores will be documented. Timepoint: At entry—

MeasureTime frame
Details of thyroidectomy including other relevant clinical details and subsequent adjuvant therapy if any shall be recorded. Scar Length shall be measured and photographs taken for documentation (only once). Timepoint: At entry—
