Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients older than 18 years of age scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Emergency and Obstetric cases • Inability to give consent • Edentulous patients • Unstable cervical spine or suspected cervical trauma. • Oromaxillofacial trauma ,massive facial dressings. • Midline swellings in neck • Gross anatomical/congenital abnormalities of head and neck • Patients with full stomach scheduled for emergency surgery or requiring rapid sequence induction. • Patients with severe cardio respiratory distress
