Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex. Age group between 1to 5 years. ASA grade I & II. Undergoing minor pediatric surgical procedure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of consent by parents Patients with sepsis,renal, cardiac or respiratory diseases. Patients with neurological disorder or taking treatment with antiepileptics Uncooperative patients.

MeasureTime frame
To determine the correlation of perfusion index and MACTimepoint: Baseline, pre induction, post induction, After airway manipulation, start of procedure, End of procedure, Agent ceased and Return to consciousness

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the correlation between perfusion index and BIS score to assess the emergence time in pediatric surgery cases. Timepoint: 30 min
