Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with 15 to 65 years of age were included so that different quality of bones could be evaluated through variations in their respective bone marrow densities. 2.Patients without any evidence of periodontal disease or alveolar bone loss were included. 3.Patient who gave consent for CBCT scan and also gave consent that the scans can be used for research purpose.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with any systemic disease, infections or illness affecting bone turnover 2.Patient with clinical cranio-facial deformities involving the head, maxilla or mandible. 3.Patients who were using any drugs that influence quality of bone. 4.Patients having recent history of radiotherapy for treatment of any diseases. 5.Patients with history of bone graft in the region of interest. 6.Patients with pregnancy or lactating mothers.
