Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing Laparoscopic surgeries at Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital 1. Elective laproscopic surgeries 2. ASA grade - 1,2,3 3. Age between 15 and 60 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal. 2. ASA grade-4 3. Pregnant and lactating women. 4. Known case of hypersensitivity reaction to Palonosteron and Dexamethasone and Ondansetron. 5. Patients on steroid therapy,antiemetics, or on treatment with other medications known to produce nausea and vomiting. 6. Patients with history of motion sickness,nausea and vomiting pre operatively.

Expected outcome of this study is to find out the efficacy of two antiemetic drug regimens for PONV and the side effects of the respective drugs used is noted. Timepoint: Time points are at 2 hrs , 12 hrs and 24 hrs of post op
