Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient who are in the age range of 18-60 years of either gender i.e. male or female. 2. Patients who are apparently clinically healthy. 3. Patients with tooth indicated for extraction due to endodontic failure, root fracture, root resorption, root perforation, or unfavourable crown-to-root ratio. 4. Sufficient buccal bone width.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with edentulous area requiring bone augmentation procedure. 2. Systemically compromised patients. 3. Pregnant or lactating mothers. 4. Patients taking oral contraceptives. 5. Patients who are smokers

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Satisfactory soft tissue healing and acceptance of the dental implant as evidenced by radiographic investigation. Timepoint: baseline to 3months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Maturation of bone around implant, successful osteointegration with the ability of the implant to bear the occlusal loads.Timepoint: 3months t0 6 months
