Intervention1: No Decay Tablets: IgY Tablets as per dosage guidelines, 20 mg chewable tablet (orange in colour ) in the morning after breakfast and 40mg chewable tablet (white in colour) after dinner

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy children between ages 12- 18 years of age. High caries risk patients according to caries risk assessment form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children in low and moderate risk category. Children with known egg allergy Medically compromised patients Patients with history of antibiotics intake thirty days prior or during the course of the study Children whose parents refused to give consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To estimate the count of S. mutans in saliva pre and post administration of Ig Y tablets. Timepoint: Saliva collection and microbial analysis will be carried out at four intervals ,i.e. before the administration, and on 15th , 30th and 60th day after administration

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of Ig Y tablets on salivary pHTimepoint: Salivary pH will be recorded at 0, 16th , 30th and 60th day
