Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. American society of Anaesthesiology physical status (ASA-PS) grade 1 & 2 2. Less than 2 years of age undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with congenital anomalies or any syndromic patients 2.patients having any growth or mass near neck or face region 3. critically ill patients 4. any arteriovenous malformation on scanning 5. any contraindications of performing valsalva maneuver or trendelenburg position

| 1.To assess the distance between left brachiocephalic vein and ipsilateral apical pleura of the lung in paediatric patients after valsalva maneuver alone and in combination with trendelenburg position when compared with trndelenburg position alone . 2.To assess any adverse effects like hypotension( MAP decrease by 20%) , hypertension(MAP increase by20%) , tachycardia (HR increase by 20%), bradycardia (HR decrease by 20%)Timepoint: 1. 10 seconds following valsalva 2. 2 minutes after trendelenburg position 3. 2 minutes after trendelenburg when valsalva applied in last 10 seconds | — |
