Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients diagnosed with differentiated thyroid carcinoma, who have undergone surgical management and with a minimum 5 year period follow up will be included in our study. Patients with elevated thyroglobulin levels ( >2ng/ml) and a negative iodine scintigraphy will be included into the ââ?¬Å?TENISââ?¬? group and patients showing direct correlation between Tg levels and iodine scintigraphy (elevated Tg with positive scan and undetectable Tg with negative scan) will be included into the ââ?¬Å?without TENISââ?¬? group

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with iodine scan identifying lesions in the setting of elevated thyroglobulin will be excluded from the TENIS group. Patients with elevated anti Tg antibody ( > 30IU/L), who were not willing for radio iodine ablation and those not on regular follow up or lost on follow up within one year of diagnosis will be excluded from the study.
