Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All euthyroid patients who underwent thyroid surgery for newly diagnosed thyroid nodules with FNAC reported as indeterminate cytology (Bethesda III) were included in our study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients, other than Bethesda class III or those already diagnosed with thyroid malignancy were excluded from the study. Other exclusion criteria were patients on thyroid hormone supplementation and Serum TSH level not within the euthyroid range.
