Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients having impacted canines who might have a favourable outcome by its exposure 2. delayed tooth eruption of canines, needing surgical exposure for orthodontic treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with any major systemic illness 2. patients with psychiatric problems. 3. patients with systemic conditions affecting the bones and teeth. 4. impacted canines in unfavourable positions

1) aesthetic agent 2) duration of procedure 3) bleeding during the procedureTimepoint: 1) duration of procedure in minutes from start to completion.
