Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with peripheral artery disease, hypertension, long standing diabetis mellitus, cardiovascular disease, Known conditions affecting peripheral perfusion like coarctation of aorta etc. Pregnant and obese patients. Patients with anticipated difficult airway. Patients on chronic drug therapy, drug/alcohol abuse.

Correlation between baseline Plethysmographic variability index and fall in Mean arterial pressureTimepoint: At 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 minutes after injection of propofol.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Correlation between baseline PVI and changes in SBP, DBP and HR 2.Correlation between baseline PI and fall in MAP. 3. Correlation between baseline PI and changes in SBP, DBP and HR. 4. Correlation between change in PVI and change in MAP. 5. Correlation between change in PI and change in MAPTimepoint: At 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 minutes after injection of propofol.
