Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient coming to department of prosthodontics for replacement of single missing tooth in posterior regeon of maxilla or mandible, and willing to participate in the study are selected. Two Implant supported prosthesis are fabricated using digital and conventional impression techniques. Evaluation and comparison of accuracy of fit, patient comfort and time efficiency of both teccniques will be performed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients developing systemic diseases during the course of the study. 2. Patients becoming pregnant during the course of the study.

the accuracy of fit, time- efficiency and patient comfort of implant supported prosthesis fabricated by using direct intraoral scanning and conventional impression technique.Timepoint: time- efficiency and patient comfort of digital and conventional impression technique are assessed during 2nd week of prosthetic phase. the accuracy of fit of implant supported prosthesis fabricated by using direct intraoral scanning and conventional impression technique assessed during 3rd week.
