Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hospitalized private health insurance holders diagnosed with cardiac diseases, renal diseases, cancer, diabetes mellitus, and hypertensive diseases who are willing to participate will be recruited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inpatients with critical illness coverage Inpatients with end stage disease renal and cancer conditions who are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. Patient with hospital bill less than INR 30000 will be excluded. A threshold of INR 30000 is identified as the median hospital bill amount for the insured patients. Inpatients with any other disease conditions.
