Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All pregnant women between age of 20 to 45 years of age and in their 20 to 32 weeks of pregnancy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. NIDDM (non-insulin-dependent diabetes) and IDDM (Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus) with pregnancy. 2.Patients having intolerance to glucose.

First Reading Plasma Glucose values greater than or equal to 92mg per dl Second Reading 1 hour plasma glucose value greater than or equal to 180mg per dl Third Reading 2 hours plasma glucose value greater than or equal to 150mg per dlTimepoint: First reading would be taken at fasting condition of the patient. Second reading would be taken post 1 hour of glucose consumption of 75 grams in 200ml of water. Third reading would be noted post 2 hours of glucose consumption
