Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy, term, non-labouring parturients posted for cesarean delivery. 2. American society of Anesthesiologist Physical status grade 2. 3. Gestational week more than or equal to 37 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal to consent 2. Unable to tolerate a tight fitting mask. 3. Multiple pregnancy 4. Significant nasal pathology 5. Severe cardiac or respiratory disease 6. Preeclampsia or sepsis 7. Women in labour
