Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Parents of children diagnosed with mental illness as per ICD 10 diagnostic criteria. 2.Child whoââ?¬•s both the parents are alive and living with the child.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any one parents with any serious Physical or mental illness.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The study intend to determine the aspects of expressed emotion and burden of parents having children with mental illness and there may be increased expressed emotion and burden of parents while caring for their child with mental illness.Timepoint: 12 month

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that there will be a significant association between expressed emotion and burden with selected socio-demographic and clinical variables.Timepoint: 12 month
