Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with mild to moderate gingivitis. 2. The systemically and periodontally healthy patients and probing depth 3. Non-smoker subjects. 4. Minimum 24 teeth present. 5. No prosthetic or orthodontic appliances. 6. No history of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or contraceptives for at least 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemically-compromised patients like patients with Type II diabetes and essential hypertension and those on medications for the same. 2. Immunocompromised patients. 3. Patients with ongoing habit like smoking, tobacco chewing, alcohol consumption, etc. 4. Pregnant or lactating mothers. 5. Who had undergone periodontal treatment within a period of 1 year
