Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -systemically healthy subjects -subjects with minimum 20 teeth present -subjects who give an inform consent to participate in the study -subject with chronic gingivitis having PI > 0.1 and GI >0.1

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -history of antibiotic usage for last 1 week -smokers (current) -subjects known to be allergic to coconut oil, sesame oil and chlorhexidine gluconate mouthwash -pregnant/ lactating mothers -history of mouthwash usage for the past 6 months
