Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients undergoing tonsillectomy under general anaesthesia who gave their consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.history of dysphagia or odynophagia due to causes other than tonsillitis. 2.patients suffering from bleeding disorders. 3.patients undergoing tonsillectomy for reasons other than chronic tonsillitis.
