Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All the individuals will be included in the study aged 20-60 years and having at least 15 functional teeth. For patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis there shall be bleeding on probing on at least 30% of sites and 2 teeth in each quadrant. For patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis there shall be periodontal pocket (�4mm) and clinical attachment loss (�5mm).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals with systemic condition like Diabetes mellitus, Chronic renal disease, hepatitis, HIV. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. Alcoholics and current smokers. Patients who were on analgesic and antibiotic therapy in the last 6 months. Patients who underwent any periodontal therapy in last 6 months
