Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The functional outcome will be assessed by the improvement in knee pain by the VISUAL ANALOGUE SCALE(VAS) and the radiological outcome by the increase in the knee articular cartilage thickness as seen on MRITimepoint: The functional outcome will be assessed after one week, six weeks, and after six months. The radiological outcome will be assessed after six months only. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The improvement in pain and radiological changes will either defer subsequent procedures or may even be curative for knee osteoarthritis. Hence the rates of arthroplasties performed for the knee will be greatly reduced.Timepoint: The functional outcome in terms of pain evaluation will be assessed at three months and the radiological outcome with x-rays will be assessed after three months. | — |
