Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients aged more than 18 years diagnosed as a case of knee osteoarthritis according to American College of Rheumatology Guidelines with a prior knee radiograph

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (i) Patients with a history of avascular necrosis of the hip (ii) Patients with high white blood cell count (give range) (iii) Patients with accompanying rheumatologic disease (iv) Patients with a history of hip/knee prosthesis (v) Secondary knee osteoarthritis (vi) Patients with a history of hip fracture, dislocation or any other hip pathology (vii) Autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus. (viii) Hemolysed blood samples. (ix) Under or overfilled EDTA vacutainers
