Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patient of all varieties of Psoriasis will be selected. 2) Both fresh and treated case of Eka-Kushtha which has already discontinued other treatment. 3) Who are fit for Virechana Karma And fit for Rakta- Mokshana by Jalauka-Avcharana. 4) Patient fulfilling the diagnostic criteria of Eka-Kushtha.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient with other systemic disorders like uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus type 2 and Hypertension which interfere with the treatment. 2) Eka-Kushtha with extra cutaneous menifestation. 3) Patient below age of 16 years and above 60 years. 4) Patient who are unfit for Virechana Karma and Jalauka-Avcharana. 5) Patient having chronicity more than 10 years.

MeasureTime frame
Patient will be assessed on the basis of signs and symptoms mentioned in Charak samhita chikitsa-7 and Sushruta Samhita nidna-5Timepoint: Before treatment,After Virechan karma and then on 15th day, 30th day & 45th day.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patient will be assessed by changes in objective parameters i.e PASI Score,Auspitz sign and Candle grease sign.Timepoint: Before treatment, After Virechan karma and then on 15th day, 30th day & 45th day.
