Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of cardiac output measured by transesophageal echocardiography and common carotid artery doppler in patients undergoing cardiac surgeryTimepoint: 10 minutes after induction 10 minutes before pericardiectomy or aortic cross clamping 20 minutes after termination of cardiopulmonary bypass or removal of cross-clamp During closure of incision

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of cardiac output measured by these two methods in different hemodynamic conditions Comparison of time taken for measurement in both methodsTimepoint: 10 minutes after induction 10 minutes before pericardiectomy or aortic cross clamping 20 minutes after termination of cardiopulmonary bypass or removal of cross-clamp During closure of incision
