Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 18-70 years of both gender, American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical class II and III undergoing cardiac surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients not willing to participate in the study Emergency surgery Cardiac arrhythmias at the time of measurement Unilateral or bilateral carotid artery stenosis Contraindication for transesophageal echocardiography
