Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >18 years 2. Spontaneously breathing ICU patient 3. Systolic BP

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy 2. Pulmonary hypertension, severe tricuspid regurgitation, atrial fibrillation 3. Patients with intraabdominal hypertension (pressure >12 cmH2O), Liver Cirrhosis /malignancy, pathology affecting inferior vena cava, carotid disease 4. Excessive intraabdominal bowel gas 5. Patients with COPD 6. known severe cardiovascular or renal impairment 7. Poor echo image quality. 8. Patient with Abdominal surgery 9. Patient without spontaneous breathing effort 10. Patient with neck surgery, trauma, radiotherapy. Obesity BMI >35kg/m2

Comparison of diagnostic accuracy of LVOT velocity time integral (VTI) variability, IVC variability & carotid parameters (FTc, ��Vpeak) for fluid responsiveness in spontaneously breathing ICU patients.Timepoint: before fluid bolus of 500 crystalloid and second reassessment within 30 minutes of completion of fluid bolus
