Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 40-60 years. 2. BMI 3. Non-response to conservative treatment (NSAIDs, PHYSIOTHERAPY, OINTMENT) at least for 3 months. 4. No other significant knee pathology. 5. Greater than 2 on 50feet walk on(10 VAS scale) 6. No intra-articular(IA) corticosteroids within 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Knee deformity (valgus/Varus). 2. Laxity of ligaments/meniscus instability, as per clinical examination. 3. Associated inflammatory or other disease condition which can affect knee joint 4. Any history of joint sepsis or any history of sub-acute infection 5. Significant venous or lymphatic stasis in the leg or clinically apparent tense effusion or inflammation at the target knee. 6. Hypersensitivity to any component of hyaluronic-acid based injection. 7. Treatment of HA derivatives in the previous 6 months or have steroids in the previous 3 months. 8. Any previous history of IA distal femur or proximal tibia fracture.
