Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18- 50 years, reporting with maxillofacial trauma are selected and distributed based on mandibular or midface trauma. 2. Patients included should have undergone surgery post trauma due to RTA, Interpersonal violence or sport injuries. 3.Participants ready to undergo structured clinical interviews and necessary blood draws. 4.The participants should sign informed consent and meet criteria for PTSD prone and not PTSD prone group

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients with a history of psychological disorders. • Unwilling participants. • Medically compromised patients. • Participants not under the defined age cohort.
