Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with schizophrenia according to the diagnostic and statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fourth edition or the International Classification of Disease, 10th Revision (ICD-10). Patients aged 18 years and above Patients treated with psychotics drugs on inpatient at the hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with major medical illness. Patients not willing to participate

Analysis of prescribing pattern of psychotropic drugs will serve as a baseline data to help clinicians to implement safe and cost effective treatment to the patients.Timepoint: 8 months

MeasureTime frame
This study will provide a framework for reasonable prescribing and also reduce polypharmacy by following the guidelinesTimepoint: 8 months
