Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess perfusion index at baseline,5 min ,10 min,15 min and 20 min on successful supraclavicular brachial plexus blocked arm and then compare with the unblocked as well failed block arm in patients who undergo orthopedic surgery of upper limb so that to use perfusion index as an early indicator of block success.Timepoint: To assess perfusion index at baseline,5 min ,10 min,15 min and 20 min on successful supraclavicular brachial plexus blocked arm and then compare with the unblocked as well failed block arm in patients who undergo orthopedic surgery of upper limb so that to use perfusion index as an early indicator of block success. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess perfusion index as an early indicator of failed block so that to buy time time to start alternative method of anesthesia.Timepoint: To assess perfusion index at baseline,5min,10 min,15 min and 20 min on successful supraclavicular brachial plexus blocked arm and then compare with the unblocked as well failed block arm in patients who undergo orthopedic surgery of upper limb so that to use perfusion index as an early indicator of block success. | — |
