Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with planned tracheal intubation. Patients giving written informed consent. ASA grade I, II, III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA status > III, a patient having indication for rapid sequence induction, predictors of difficult airway present (inter incisor distance 3), oropharyngeal pathology, morbid obesity, patient refusal, patients with severe pulmonary comorbidity)
