Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients who have undergone elective open above mentioned oncosurgeries and in whom epidural has not even been attempted.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients in whom the epidural has not been inserted as a direct consequence of participation in any other trial will be excluded. If epidural catheter insertion has been attempted but abandoned, the patients will be excluded from the study.
