Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children who undergone Blood Transfusion who will be fulfilling the following criteria 1 Child who can read, write or understand Gujarati and Hindi. 2 Confirmed diagnosis of Beta Thalassemia Major and undergoing Blood Transfusion 3 Age between 8-18 years 4 Both Genders 5 Child and Parents who are willing to participate for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Child who is chronically ill

MeasureTime frame
The quality of life of children with thalassemia major will be improved with the implementation of self care model. HRQOL- SF 36 scale will be usedTimepoint: The quality of life of children with thalassemia major will be assessed at 6 month during each blood transfusion after implementation of self care model.
